CSUN's Planetarium  Now Showing: "The Search for Life in the Universe" Narrator Leonard Nimoy (Star Trek's Mr. Spock) poses this question, which has puzzled humanity since its beginning. Come learn about the attempts being made by Earthlings to establish contact with extraterrestrial civilizations. We'll also examine the ingredients necessary for life on our planet as we ponder the possibility of life elsewhere in our solar system and beyond.

FREE MOVIES AT THE PIER! The Santa Monica Film Festival and the Santa Monica Pier Restoration Corporation proudly present’s the Second Annual Santa Monica Drive-In on the Santa Monica Pier. Every Tuesday evening in August and September we will be featuring family classics on a huge screen under the night sky. Last years overwhelming success over four nights featuring Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jaws, Grease, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and a special musical appearance by the band Dishwalla brought 14,000 people in attendance.
